Launch party success

We had a great time at our launch party on Tuesday. Thanks to all who read for us and helped make the night a success, and thanks of course to everyone who contributed to the Anthology. Watch this space for some photos of the night itself!

Now that the launch is over, those of you who submitted will be receiving your copy of the Anthology in the next week. Keep an eye on that letter box 🙂

We can’t wait!

Launch Party!

On 28th April Crooked Holster will be launching their wonderful anthology together at Tennents Bar, Glasgow, along with another fabulous new anthology, Williwaw. Wiliwaw: An Anthology of the Marvellous, is a collection of magical realist short stories and flash fiction.

There will be refreshments, readings and copies of the anthologies to buy, and we would love to see you there!

We look forward to seeing you at the launch and we’ll be posting more information about readers over the next few days.

In the meantime, if you’d like to read more about these two anthologies, have a look at their websites:

Almost there!

We’re almost there, folks. The typesetting is nearly done, we’re humming and hawing over cover designs, and we’re getting our blurb in order.  Then we’ll be pressing the big button and sending it off to Createspace to be checked. Once it’s checked we’ll get a proof copy, and when we confirm that, then we’ll be good to go!

We’re also planning a launch party, with one of our colleague anthologies, Williwaw, who are also launching their inaugural book at the same time – Date and place yet to be confirmed, but tentatively around the end of April (possibly the 28th), in Glasgow. The contributors will receive their copies of the Anthology around the same time, and it will be available to by on Amazon as a print or ebook.

We’ll be looking for a few of you to do some reading, and look forward to meeting some of you in person!
