Andrew Taylor, triple winner of the CWA Historical Dagger and recipient of the Cartier Diamond Dagger of the CWA, writes the foreword to Crooked Holster 3

We are utterly thrilled to reveal that the foreword to Crooked Holster 3 is written by Andrew Taylor, the hugely successful and ever-inventive historical crime author.

Keeping up our tradition of prefacing the very best new talent with inspiring words from some of the finest crime and thriller writers in the UK today, we are delighted to have Andrew on board for this latest volume.

Andrew Taylor is the prizewinning author of many highly acclaimed novels and is particularly well known for his historical crime fiction including the Lydmouth series and The Roth Trilogy, recently televised as Fallen Angel. He is the only author to have won the CWA’s Historical Dagger three times for The Office of the Dead, The Scent of Death and The American Boy – the latter also featuring on The Times Top Ten Crime Stories of the Decade. In 2009, he was awarded the Cartier Diamond Dagger of the Crime Writers Association. His most recent publications, The Ashes of London and Fireside Gothic are published by HarperCollins and are available widely. We are extraordinarily proud to have his wisdom and inspiring words as a foreword for the third volume of Crooked Holster.
